AirGames: The sport of the future.

Inspired by awesome games like ‘Track and Field’ and ‘Ski or Die’ to the uplifting ‘go for glory’ attitude of film soundtracks throughout the 80’s, the ‘AirGames Anthology’ is a collection of the 'Opening Ceremony' tracks for each bi-annual big game event! Almost like the Olympics theme every 4 years. Much like the historical films ‘Rollerball’ and ‘The Running Man,’ sport has stepped up a level, and now, the Air Games League of the 2080s fuses Football and Jetpacks into one bigger, better, beautiful game.

Massively inspired by Vincent Dicola and the Rocky IV soundtrack and my all time favourite producer, The Hitman, David Foster and the wonderful, ‘Winter Games’. Whilst putting these tracks together, a collection of artists have joined the games and composed all original inspired pieces to launch this album. Fantastic artworks and music with uplifting and energetic themes soar through this epic journey from beginning to end. The sky really is the limit. Beckett. 2017.

Mitch Murder is my favorite synthwave artist. Some people think he’s dated compared to some of the more recent vocal acts—and don’t get me wrong, I like The Midnight and GUNSHIP just as much as the next guy. While AA continues to lay down the disco beats, Watching Stars has a relaxed pace that's more in line with stargazing. "Paradise" flirts with outrun, but it's got dreamy slow sections as well. "Camaro Dreams" has a moody edge. "Lost Days" has some cool guitar and bass hooks during its stroll. "Midnight Rides" is another slow disco number with some fun cowbell and hi-hat and a simple synth solo. "Watching Stars" has a fun beat and guitar stingers backing a digital warmth not unlike Starforce. kmxexii
